EVOS Energy Platform

As a Lead Designer my goal was to create an intuitive, user-friendly, responsive experience that would empower fleet managers to take control of their energy, and reduce the cost of managing their site composed of multiple EVs and chargers, all while supporting sustainability through solar integration. After conducting user research and expert interviews to gain user insights and identify key pain points, I drafted the customer journey maps of the personas in the ecosystem to create clear, user-focused problem statements that guide the design process and solution development. After that, I used Figma to build wireframes, high-fidelity design concepts and developed interactive prototypes to test the solution and gather feedback from customers. The design focused on simplicity and accessibility with a clean, modern aesthetic. The EVOS Energy Platform provides dashboards with real-time usage data of chargers and EV vehicles in a fleet, combining with powerful analytics and a user-friendly interface to empower customers to make well-informed energy management and scheduling decisions. With a consistent look and feel, the EVOS Energy Platform works seamlessly with MyEVOS App, the first software offering and previously released solution. It follows the same components in the design system (created concurrently) in order to make it easier to use for customers in different roles (fleet manager, driver, admin) and developers, as well as reducing the development time for new features.
